The Principal Engineer is responsible for overseeing a product development group whose mission is delivering an end-product that meets specified performance, cost and schedule targets in accordance with TDI process and procedures; perform skilled electrical/electronic design duties requiring the use of design techniques, theory principles, and technical knowledge; hands-on new product design and development for high reliability, military and commercial power supplies and system applications. The successful candidate will have proficiency with CAD/CAE tools, knowledge in high freq PWM AC-DC converters, high freq DC-AC conversion, UL safety requirements, magnetics design and EMI/RFI reduction techniques; a record of ensuring design objectives such as environmental, reliability and cost of manufacture requirements are achieved.
